Two Massachusetts media organizations that sought release of a bankruptcy examiner’s report that purportedly contained scandalous and defamatory material. Former executives of Gitto Global Corp, which filed for bankruptcy, had challenged the release, but the 1st U.S. Circuit Court said not all material that might harm someone’s reputation triggers an exemption.
