A Boston judge has granted a government request to view sealed divorce records of alleged kidnapper Clark Rockefeller, but refused to make them available to the public, according to The Associated Press.
Rockefeller is accused of abducting his 7-year-old daughter and has been questioned in the disappearance of a California couple. His case garnered national headlines this summer as police tracked down Rockefeller and the child, who was unharmed, in Baltimore.
Rockefeller’s attorney, Stephen Hrones, opposed letting the prosecution view the divorce records. According to The AP, he called them “highly personal matters.”
