Letter of Support for Fallen Journalists Memorial
Reporters Committee Executive Director Bruce Brown sent a letter to Chairman Peter May of the National Capital Memorial Advisory Commission in support of the Fallen Journalists Memorial in Washington, D.C. If passed, H.R. 3465 (the Fallen Journalists Memorial Act of 2019) would authorize the Fallen Journalists Memorial Foundation to establish a privately funded memorial commemorating the sacrifices made by journalists for a free and independent press.
