A California judge has ordered a weekly newspaper to delay publishing information on a test drug until a hearing on whether the information is proprietary and should not have been made public by a San Diego health agency. An Illinois pharmaceutical company sued to block publication when it learned a weekly newspaper had obtained data on their synthetic red blood cell substitute, now being tested in the San Diego area.
