Cundiff will provide pro bono legal support to journalists and newsrooms in Indiana.

Journalists reporting on the 2024 election cycle have access to RCFP’s free legal resources, including our Election Legal Guide.

Lambert was represented by attorneys from RCFP and the First Amendment Clinic at Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

Steering Committee members Gail Gove and Theodore J. Boutrous, Jr. are also joining RCFP’s Executive Committee.

RCFP will hire an attorney to work in Indiana and provide direct pro bono legal support to local journalists.

Zachary Babo, Julia Dacy, Mayeesha Galiba, and Daniela del Rosario Wertheimer will support RCFP’s legal team.

The advisory committee will provide strategic counsel for the program.

Mara Gassmann will lead RCFP's amicus practice. Elizabeth Soja, Denver Nicks will expand the capacity of the Local Legal Initiative.

Carter’s decades of support for RCFP included serving on the organization’s Executive Committee.
