The wife of a former CIA agent still on covert status somewhere for someone filed suit against the agency, claiming she and her three children are being virtually imprisoned in their home in an unnamed foreign country for reasons that are … redacted. Indeed, almost all of Jane Doe’s suit is redacted because, the CIA says, the “factual assertions … consist largely of classified information.” And CIA Director Porter Goss is claiming a state secrets privilege in urging the federal court in the New York Southern District to dismiss the case because he “has further determined that the classified information … is so integral to plaintiffs’ claims that any further litigation of this matter would necessarily result in disclosure of classified information.” Any questions?
