The Coalition and 12 of its member organizations urged the American Bar Association to reject a recommendation of its Commission on Effective Criminal Sanctions that would have sealed many criminal court records, including everyone not convicted and some found guilty many years earlier. The proposal was ultimately withdrawn. (8/15/07)
