A commissioner from Connecticut’s FOI Commission believes a Hartford city attorney violated the state’s public records law by denying a request for records from the Hartford Courant.  

Commissioner Sherman London is recommending that the full commission compel the city to turn over unredacted copies of the requested records and pay a civil penalty.
