The Connecticut Freedom of Information Commission, responding to a request filed by attorneys at Yale Law School, ordered the state Department of Public Safety to release documents relating to raids in June by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement on immigrants in New Haven, Ct. The decision was 4-0. The state claimed release would damage relations between state agencies and the Department of Homeland Security. (11/9/07)
