A newspaper publisher in Post, TX, claims court officials violated the First Amendment when they barred news photographers from the courthouse where a criminal trial was getting started. “This is too serious of a thing to let slide by,” Burnett said. “One of the ways we lose our freedom and liberty is by ignoring violations to our Constitution,” said Wesley Burnett,  publisher of the Post Avalance-Journal.  (11/19/07)
