Delaware AG Tells Ethics Board to Release Lobbyist Database

The Delaware Attorney General Office told the state’s Public Integrity Commission that it must give a copy its database of disclosure forms filed by lobbyists and top state officials to the Wilmington The News Journal. The commission had denied the newspaper’s Freedom of Information Act request, arguing that since many records had been made available in paper form or on its Web site, the agency had no legal obligation to provide its database.
