A Detroit Free Press reporter, David Ashenfelter, asked a federal judge to block efforts by a former assistant U.S. attorney to obtain the names of his sources. The former prosecutor, Richard Convertino, is suing the federal government for violating his privacy by leaking information about him and an investigation into his handling of a high profile terrorist case.
