In a report to Congress, the Department of Energy said it found and reclassified 736 pages that contained sensitive information in a review of 465,000 pages of records that had been declassified. In 1999, the DOE began reviewing declassified records for inadvertent disclosures. It has identified 2,766 documents it says should never have been declassified. The project has cost $22 million and is reportedly nearly finished. (9/12/06)
