FBI Agents, Pursuing Leaks Investigation, Raids Home of Ex-Justice Attorney

FBI agents, with a classified search warrant, raided the Washington suburb home of former Justice Department lawyer Thomas Tamm, apparently as part of an investigation into the leaking of information last January about the government’s warrantless super-secret electronic surveillance program. Agents seized not only his computer but those of two of his children, as well. Tamm worked in a Justice office that oversees the surveillance of terrorist and espionage targets. (8/8/07)
