FBI Agrees to Provide Requested FOIA Records by 2013

The FBI has advised a privacy organization that it will take a while to meet its Freedom of Information Act request for information on how the agency protects privacy while collecting millions of personal records. Like until 2013. The FBI told the court it had an estimated 72,000 pages of records that fell within the request and it could only process 800 a month. It did offer to turn over the records records cleared for release each month. (4/11/07)
