Even in death, there are those in government who would like to silence Jack Anderson, the muckraking columnist who died last December. The FBI has informed George Washington University and the Anderson family that it wants to go through 200 boxes of his records — and remove anything they consider confidential or top secret – before the files are made available to historians and the public. The family says it will fight the request. (4/18/06)
