The U.S. attorney’s office in Providence, R.I., has decided to withhold from the public some personal information on those it charges with crimes. In a press release, the prosecutor’s office said its decision not to provide age and address of the accused is an effort to comply with court guidelines on individual privacy information in placed in court records.
