Five reporters were escorted from a Florida Republican Party luncheon at Disney World because, the chairwoman said, the GOP wants to keep its party functions private. The reporters were listening at a sidedoor because Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was speaking. Bush issued a non-apology apology: “I apologize for that if I’m indirectly responsible, which I’m not.” (1/25/06)
