Florida Gov. Charlie Crist announced that clemency applicants will be able to review case analysis reports prepared by the Parole Commission prior to any scheduled clemency hearing. The action is the first direct result of hearings by a new Commission on Open Government, which recently heard from several witnesses about the secrecy surrounding the state’s clemency process.
