Florida Gov. Charlie Crist named a nine-member Commission on Open Government to review existing state open government laws and evaluate the public’s right of access to meetings and records. He named Barbara Petersen, president of the Florida First Amendment Foundation, as chair of the commission. Crist said the panel “will help ensure that all levels of government are accessible to the people.” (6/19/07)
