A trial court judge in Florida ruled that the court records involving the death of a five-year-old boy should be released, but he withheld an immediate decision on whether other Department of Children and Family records relating to the boy’s treatment in the years before his death could continue to be withheld . The Ocala Star Banner said it sought the records as part of an investigation of reports the boy was beaten by his father. (4/05/06)
