A Freedom of Information Act request has produced government documents confirming that two allied soldiers, one Canadian, one U.S., were killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan 15 months ago. The censored report, released to the Associated Press, did not indicate if the machine gunner who shot both men from behind had been disciplined. (7/5/07)
