FOIAed Report Shows Police Were Off While On Duty

It took a request under South Carolina’s Freedom of Information Act to get police in the town of Mount Pleasant to release an internal investigation report explaining why four officers resigned and one was fired. The initially withheld report revealed that a lot of duty hours were spent on anything but police business. (2/14/07)
