The city of Fort Worth has decided to go to court rather than follow a directive from the Texas attorney general to release public records in two cased involving a routine police report and lawyer’s notes. The city claims disclosure of the information could subject them to criminal or civil liability. The AG said the city had failed to show that the information was used or developed in an investigation. (9/111/06)
