The Department of Homeland Security is putting up roadblocks to the Government Accountability Office in its investigations for Congress, the GAO’s managing director of homeland security and justice issues told a House subcommittee. “We often wait for months for information that in many cases could be provided immediately,” said Norman Rabkin of elaborate procedures set up by DHS.
