A Salt Lake City attorney seeking to prove that his brother was killed while being interrogated by the FBI presented the appellate court with a transcript of an investigative hearing into the matter that he obtained from the Justice Department. All but 55 words in the 54 page report had been redacted by Justice, citing deliberative process. Said one judge, “This is a terrible case. The federal government doesn’t look well for it.” (5/10/07)
