The House Subcommittee on Information Policy heard testimony on the need for Freedom of Information Act reform from representatives of three open government advocacy groups will hold a hearing at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Rayburn 2154 on the Freedom of Information Act. The hearing is the first on the Freedom of Information Act for new members of the subcommittee that will have to consider any FOIA legislation introduced in this Congress. (2/14/07)
