Idaho: Three Join Suit to Open Legislative Committee Meetings

Three public advocacy groups will join an Idaho media organization in requesting the state Supreme Court to prohibit legislators from meeting in closed session. The Idaho Conservation League, the American Civil Liberties Union and the League of Women Voters will submit arguments in support of The Idaho Press Club’s appeal of a lower court decision that allows legislators to close committee meetings.
