In case you wondered, the nation’s top intelligence officials have now compiled information on how much of the country’s intelligence work is outsourced. But don’t ask. The number of outspooks is inside information. The New York Times reports the “human capital” officer for the Director of National Intelligence would acknowledge only that roughly 25 percent of an undisclosed workforce is contracted. (4/26/07)
