The Iowa House, by a 96-2 vote, approved a bill that allows university foundations to keep confidential the names and other information about donors. The legislation, if passed by the Senate, would overturn a 2005 Iowa Supreme Court ruling that university foundations must open their records to the public. (3/24/06)
