A federal judge ordered a hearing Dec. 21 on whether the CIA violated a court ruling when it destroyed video tapes of terrorist suspect interrogations. Justice Department attorneys argued that the tapes should be exempt from the 2005 court order that all evidence related to the treatment of Guantanamo should be preserved. (12/18/07)
