Federal Judge Reggie Walton, presiding over the trial of I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby , denied a request to broadcast audio recordings of the trial. News organizations had requested the recordings made by the court be available for broadcasting but Walton said the taping was for the exclusive use of the stenographers making a transcript.
