A federal judge criticized the federal government secrecy in its case against a Muslim spiritual leader and said she would grant a new trial if prosecutors didn’t share information on the Bush administration’s warrantless surveillance program with the defense.  District Judge Leoni M. Brinkema said her skepticism was the result of misinformation given her in another terrorism prosecution. (11/21/07)
