The Justice Department appears to be preparing for a new round of subpoenas to reporters in an effort to learn their sources, the New York Times reports. This time it’s seeking to discover who tipped various reporters to the name of Steven J. Hatfill, the former Army bioterrorism expert who was identified as the primary “person of interest” in the 2001 investigation of mailed envelopes containing anthrax.
