The Kalamazoo (MI) Gazette has run a series of stories showing how police and other agencies regularly fail to produce all the information available in response to public records requests. In one instance, a man was told that videotapes of a traffic stop involving his son didn’t exist. The newspaper later obtained two tapes. (10/17/07)
