Missouri Governor Revises E-Mail Policy; AG Announces Probe

Missouri Attorney General Jay Nixon appointed a special investigative team to determine whether Gov. Matt Blunt’s office violated the state’s public records law when it automatically deleted e-mails. The investigation was launched shortly after Gov. Blunt announced a new policy on retention that he said goes beyond the requirements of the law. (11/16/07).
