Nashville Court Told to Unseal File in Suit Against Arena Managers

An appellate court in Tennessee said a lower court in Nashville must unseal settlement documents in a law suit involving Nashville Kats cheerleaders who sued the city arena managers after discovering they had been videotaped in their dressing room. In a lawsuit brought by the Nashville Tennessean, the appeals court said the management firm is the “the functional equivalent of a government agency” in the management of the publicly owned-arena and as such, subject to the Public Records Act.
