The Office of the National Intelligence Director says it will disclose the size of the 2007 national intelligence budget within the next week. a spokesperson said. The disclosure, strongly opposed by the administration, is required by a law that passed Congress this summer and was signed by President Bush. The last officially authorized disclosure was for 1998: $26.7 billion. (10/22/07)
