North Carolina Gov. Mike Easley, responding to an allegation that his office destroyed e-mails, announced the creation of a special panel to review e-mail policies under state law. The review will include use of the state-owned e-mail systems and text messaging on state-owned or leased cell phones and other wireless devices. (3/27/08)
