OMB Watch, an open government advocacy group, announced its 2006 Transparency Awards, giving top honors to the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act, which will result in government contract information being posted on a searchable website. It gave the again delayed FOIA Improvement the award for the Most Overdue Effort. (12/20/06)
