John McCain, the likely Democratic and Republican nominees for president, have co-introduced legislation that would provide the public more information on government spending. The bill, S-3077, builds on previous efforts of Obama and Sen. Tom Coburn, R-OK, another co-sponsor to provide web access to federal grand and contract information.
