Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann believes that every company doing business with the state should act, for the purposes of the contract, as if they are an agency of the state. As a result, he’s looking for a way to make all records related to their projects public. He said he’d start with contracts let by his office, then seek to persuade others to follow suit. (4/18/07)
