The tax assessor in Kanawha County, West Virginia is suing a Web entrepreneuer to halt the posting of local tax maps, some 20,000 in number, that the assessor sells for $8 apiece. Seneca Technologies posted the maps after it won a law suit against the assessor to obtain the maps for something less than the $225,648 it was billed. The court settled on a $20 processing fee.
