Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court ruled that the Lancaster New Era and Sunday News does not have to turn over the computers of two of its reporters to the state’s attorney general, who is trying to determine if a county coroner gave reporters access to a restricted law enforcement website. The court said the AG’s efforts to seize the computers was “unduly intrusive.” (10/10/06)
