Thirteen states now have secrecy laws closing off information to state pension fund performance information, Forbes reports. It said there is a growing trend to seal information on private equity fund performance, noting as an example that Virginia’s Retirement System manager recently asked staff to box and return all quarterly and annual reports received from fund managers.
