Rep. Jane Harman, D-CA, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, has asked CIA Director Michael V. Hayden to release an agency report paints a “grim” picture of the situation in Iraq. Harman said she understood the report has been stamped a “draft” and won’t be released until after the November elections. She told Hayden the “integrity of the organization you lead is at stake.” (10/6/06)
