Rep. Waxman Asks Andrew Card to Testify on Security Violations

Rep. Henry Waxman, D-CA, sent a five page letter to former White House chief of staff Andrew Card asking him to come before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to talk about violations of classified information security policy during his watch. Waxman cited several examples that had been leaked to him that he said suggested a “systemic failure to safeguard classified information at the White House.” (4/24/07)
