The U.S. government has now released a list of the names of 558 people held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by the Associated Press. It is the most extensive accounting yet of the hundreds held there, nearly all of them labeled enemy combatants. (4/20/06)
