The Lake Travis, TX, school board thinks there’s such a thing as too much Freedom of Information, prompting it to sue a parent whose requests for records about the special education policies it considered excessive to the point of harassment. A court rejected the suit but the state legislature is not considering legislation that would allow agencies to charge larger fees for complex requests. (3/29/07)
