Sen. Ron Wyden, D-OR, said two partially declassified reports critical of pre-Iraq war intelligence that were issued by the Senate Intelligence Committee were significantly overclassified, hiding “certain highly offensive activities” and “deeply disturbing information” that should have been made public. “I am very troubled that some information in these reports has been classified even though its release would have no impact on national security,” he said.
